Mayhew Tools Expands Beth Lawless’s Role to National and Key Account Manager

 

Turners Falls, MA, July 15, 2021 – Mayhew Steel Products, Inc. (Mayhew Tools) announces new expanded role for National Accounts Manager, Beth Lawless. Lawless, who joined the team in October 2020, will now serve as both National and Key Account Manager to Mayhew Tools top distributor accounts. The extended role comes on the heels of long-time OEM and International Account Manager Debra Selicious’s departure from the century-old premium hand tool manufacturer to explore a new opportunity.

Lawless, who has over six years of experience in strategic account management, will expand her responsibilities to developing and maintaining named, national, and key account relationships to ensure mutual long-term success for both the company and its customers. She will work closely with each account to ensure all opportunities, requirements, issues, and solutions are communicated clearly to help them increase sales and market share.

“Since joining Mayhew last year, I have been able to work closely with both internal teams and key customer accounts to identify product and market trends, gaps, and cross-selling opportunities that have proven successful for both us and for our customers’ growth,” commented Lawless. “I am eager to further strengthen the relationships we have with our key accounts, working with them to strategically expand new business opportunities by introducing new products, identifying solutions that fill a void in the market, and increasing profit margins.” 

Prior to joining Mayhew, Lawless served as an Account Specialist for New Balance where she not only worked closely with internal sales teams and external accounts to manage order books, but she also worked to influence the account base to adopt supply chain initiatives that increased operational efficiency and cost reduction opportunities. She also worked for IVY as an Account Manager, where she led business development efforts, managed four brand ambassadors, and met weekly with existing and new customers to exceed weekly quotas and revenue goals, winning her top salesperson for the Boston-based office in 2017. She holds a B.A. in Art and Archaeology from Princeton University.
