Since joining the company in 2019, Dianna has continually demonstrated growth, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. In her role, she manages a wide range of responsibilities including customer service, purchasing, billing, reporting, and administrative support. She plays a critical role in supporting our Cable Tie product lines while maintaining strong communication with customers and internal teams.

Whether resolving challenges, improving processes, assisting coworkers, or ensuring customers receive timely and accurate information, she consistently goes above and beyond. Her positive attitude, accountability, teamwork, and dedication to continuous improvement make her a valued member of the Mayhew team.
We asked Dianna a few questions to get to know her better — here's what she had to say.
Can you walk us through your role and what a typical day looks like for you?
I wear quite a few hats here! My main responsibilities include customer service, order entry, and quoting, making sure our clients get what they need quickly and accurately. I also manage project tracking and oversee all our purchasing, from raw materials and machinery to office supplies. Beyond that, I pitch in with whatever administrative support is needed to keep things running smoothly. It's a dynamic role that keeps me engaged across different areas of the business, and I really enjoy the variety.
How'd you get your start in this line of work, and what brought you through our doors?
My career began over 25 years ago as a bank teller, where I quickly discovered my passion for customer service. I thrived on helping people and wanted to grow in that direction. Eventually, I made the shift into manufacturing, partly for the schedule, as I had multiple children involved in sports and wanted to be present for those weekends. What started as a practical decision turned into a genuine love for the work. I've come to really enjoy manufacturing and understanding how things actually work. It's truly amazing to see how much goes into even the simplest product, and I'm constantly learning from being on the floor. That hands-on curiosity has become a core part of who I am professionally.
Is there a project or accomplishment you've been part of here that you're especially proud of?
I'm genuinely proud to have been part of this company's growth over the past seven years. Watching us expand substantially and knowing I've contributed, whether through streamlining operations, supporting our team, or helping bring a whole new product line to life, has been incredibly rewarding. It's not just about the numbers; it's about being part of something that's thriving and knowing that my work played a role in that success. That kind of growth speaks to the quality of what we do and the strength of our team.
When someone picks up one of our tools, what do you want them to notice right away?
What I want people to notice the moment they pick up one of our products is its quality. Every member of our team genuinely cares about the products we create and sell, and I believe that dedication is reflected in every piece we make.
How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my children and grandchild. I love being outdoors, whether it's camping, watching our kids play sports, or spending time practicing at the range. Family and the outdoors are where I feel most at home.
Organized and Driven: Amy Lindahl, Sales Operations Assistant
Amy was nominated for her exceptional ability to manage multiple priorities while consistently delivering outstanding results. Her work supporting customer load sheets and customer-specific requirements is critical to serving many of our key accounts. In addition to her regular responsibilities, Amy frequently assists other departments, takes on special projects, and responds to last-minute requests with professionalism and a can-do attitude.
Amy's strong organizational skills, adaptability, and commitment to helping others make her an integral part of the team. No matter how busy things become, she remains positive, focused, and dedicated to ensuring work gets done accurately and on time. Her contributions have a meaningful impact on our customers, coworkers, and overall success.

Can you walk us through your role and what a typical day looks like for you?
As a Sales Operations Assistant, my role is to support the sales team in a variety of ways and help ensure they have the information needed to be successful. A large part of my responsibilities involves managing all aspects of the tradeshows we attend throughout the year, from coordinating materials and displays to making sure everything is ordered, shipped, and arrives on time. On a day-to-day basis, I track and report monthly sales numbers, maintain pricing and load sheets, and help keep our product information current and organized. I also work closely with different departments to ensure new product information is ready for new product launches. Every day is a little different, which keeps the job interesting and allows me to contribute to many areas of the business.
How'd you get your start in this line of work, and what brought you through our doors?
I originally entered the workforce in a customer-facing retail role and found that I really enjoyed the mix of problem-solving, communication, and relationship building. As I gained experience, I moved over to the wholesale division of the business and developed a deeper understanding of the business operations and customer needs.
When someone picks up one of our tools, what do you want them to notice right away?
I want them to notice the quality and craftsmanship that goes into every tool we produce.
How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
When I'm not at work, I love spending time with family and friends. My ideal day is sitting lakeside or visiting a favorite beach in Rhode Island.
