MARKING AND HOLE MAKING

Scribe: Metalworking tool used like a pencil to mark crisp, sharp, accurate lines on work pieces.
Awl: Used to puncture holes or enlarge existing holes in a variety of materials such as leather, canvas or wood.
Scratch Awl: is the combination of the scribe and awl. Although traditionally used to trace patterns onto leather it is commonly used for woodworking layout and making tool.
